About Rosemary

Rosemary, Salvia rosmarinus, formerly known as Rosmarinus officinalis, is a Mediterranean evergreen of the mint family whose needles carry a piercing, resinous scent. Scott Cunningham calls it one of the oldest incenses, generally used as a substitute for frankincense, and notes that when burned it emits powerful cleansing and purifying vibrations, ridding a place of negativity, especially before magical work.
