Our suppliers selectively harvest only mature plant material while avoiding overharvesting in any one area. Once harvested, all of our sage sticks are handmade, hand-tied, and naturally sun-dried in California, USA. No chemicals or pesticides are used during the growing process. Every harvest season is carefully managed to preserve healthy plant stands for future growth. Sustainably grown and ethically harvested products have always been one of our highest priorities.Our Palo Santo (Bursera graveolens) is ethically sourced from Peru through trusted suppliers who follow strict sustainable harvesting practices. The wood used for our Palo Santo products is collected exclusively from naturally fallen branches and trees that have completed their natural life cycle. No living trees are cut down to produce our Palo Santo. This method complies with Peruvian regulations while supporting the responsible management and conservation of this important natural resource.
