A white, marble-veined stone that quiets a racing mind, softens reactive anger, and makes room for patience, clearer thinking, and deeper rest.
Also known as
White Howlite, White Buffalo Stone, Silicoborocalcite, Turquenite
Care
Howlite is safe to handle and wear. It is soft and porous, so avoid prolonged water exposure, ultrasonic cleaners, and harsh chemicals, which can strip dye or dull the surface. Much of the blue material sold as 'Turquenite' or 'white turquoise' is dyed Howlite (sometimes dyed Magnesite) rather than genuine Turquoise — a distinction worth knowing before you buy.
