Fluorite is the stone you reach for when your thoughts feel like a screen with forty tabs open at once. Banded in violet, green, and glassy blue, it draws off the mental static and hands your focus back to you, calmer and sharper than before.

Meet the Stone

Fluorite is calcium fluoride, a halide mineral that crystallizes into cubes and octahedrons ribboned in purple, green, and blue. It's long been called the "Genius Stone" for the way it organizes a scattered mind — a natural fit for a desk, a study space, or anywhere clear thinking matters.

An Affirmation to Keep

"I see clearly through confusion and choose with a calm mind." Fluorite's traditional role is to settle mental noise so intention and focus can take over — a good line to return to whenever your thoughts feel crowded.

Is It Your Stone?

Fluorite is associated with Capricorn and Pisces, and traditionally connected to the Third Eye, Crown, and Heart chakras. Its structuring energy is said to help wherever a mind runs loud — not only for those two signs.

Pair It With

Fluorite is traditionally paired with Amethyst to deepen calm and intuition, Clear Quartz to amplify focus, Black Tourmaline to ground its airy mental energy, and Lepidolite to soften anxious energy for a steadier mind.

Crystal Care

Fluorite is soft at Mohs 4 and chips or scratches easily, so store it separately from harder stones. Skip salt water and prolonged sunlight — both can fade or damage it. Cleanse with sound, selenite, or moonlight instead.
